What engines are offered for the 2018 Cherokee?

Two engine types are offered with the 2018 Jeep Cherokee. The first is the standard 2.4-liter Tigershark 4-cylinder, which creates 184 hp and 171 lb-ft of torque. The other is the 3.2-liter V6 engine, which creates 271 hp and 239 lb-ft of torque. The second engine comes automatically with the Overland 4x4 and can be added as an option for any of the other trim models. The nine-speed automatic transmission comes standard with both engines, as does the option to choose between 4WD and FWD. The Limited is the next trim available and offers leather a de-icer for the wiper, upholstery, a power liftgate, heated seats for the front two passengers, blind-spot monitoring, parking sensors, an additional remote ignition, and a heated steering wheel. The final trim option is the Overland, giving you a radio and navigation system, a leather instrument panel, memory driver's seat, a nine-speaker audio system, and a sound-deadening windshield.
