My salesman was Kyle, he is very friendly, polite and not pushy. I came there unprepared to buy a vehicle and he took the time to help me thru it. We test drive many vehicles, he printed out side by side comparisons of each car for me. We went over options, pricing and what would be a good pick. After several hours of driving and comparing he found the best vehicle for me. I then met with Charlie in finance. He made that for quickly and just as smooth. I'm glad that I went here and will continue to.
When I walked in the door, I was greeted and asked what I was looking for. After I told Leo the type of car, he asked what color I was looking for. He searched his inventory and helped to find me exactly what I was looking for! I was able to trade my car in for a down payment and was given a very fair amount of. I am writing to formally file a complaint against Brown’s Automotive Group due to ongoing service issues, unreasonable delays, and improper charges that have left me without reliable transportation while I continue to pay for my leased vehicle.
First, the level of customer service I have experienced has been extremely poor. I was initially informed that my vehicle would not be seen for approximately six weeks, despite the fact that my engine warning light was on. Signed a contract and invoice on a 2026 Ram, but when the truck arrived the price suddenly went up. When I showed my signed paperwork, I was told it wasn’t a contract they had to honor. I had already traded in my lease that morning, so I was stuck. This dealership is exactly why people hate buying cars. Completely unprofessional. Shop elsewhere.

Excellent dealership. My salesperson was vigilant in getting the vehicle I wanted and hammering out all the glitches that came up in the paperwork. This is the third time I have used this dealership and they have never disappointed yet. They were even able to change out the trim on the dash and add a side step on my vehicle in one day. I leased a 2025 Grand Cherokee L on Sat. Feb. 3, Jim Daggett was my salesman. He was very professional and went above and beyond to accommodate my schedule, we completed the deal and I left with my new Jeep later that day. He also handled the return of my 2021 Jeep. This is my 5th vehicle from Browns and Jim has handled the last 2 flawlessly.

But as for Service dept - they are unprofessional and plainly, liars. I have not found one person their to be professional. I dare even to say human they, have no compasion or understanding. The staff at Browns Jeep are a class act. The salesman David helped me choose the best deal and worked quickly to have me approved. David took care of all the paperwork, setup my insurance, DMV, and told me to come back the next day at 6pm. When I arrived at 6pm, my new truck was sparkling clean with a fresh detail, full tank of gas and I was in the road in minutes. I couldn’t have asked for anything more. I was very impressed.

Browns has always had a great reputation and my first experience purchasing a car there this week holds true to that. Both Rich my salesman and Charlie the finance manager were patient, accommodating and make you feel welcomed. They were fair and matched exactly what I wanted. Browns service department is actually concerning. I dropped off my car under warranty. Every time I call The service advisor is busy and claims will call back but he never does. 3 calls In one day is my record, I’m sure you’ll beat it. If I could give negative 5 stars I absolutely would. Brown’s Jeep of Patchogue is a disgrace. They are irresponsible and negligent in their service department. Over the summer of 2020 we took my car in for a repair of the catalytic converter that was still under warranty. After three weeks of of being razzle dazzled by their incompetent customer service agents, they finally admitted to breaking the head gasket because they couldn’t get the bolts off to replace the catalytic converter. I brought my jeep grand Cherokee in for an oil change and to have a recall item taken care of. A service person meet me by my car before I could get out. He took all my information and told me someone would call when it was finished. He was very polite and professional I felt like I could trust him. Very satisfied with the service I received.

DISHONORABLE BUSINESS!! Was recently here to trade in my used car for a 2021 Grand Cherokee. Found the truck we wanted and confirmed that we wanted to move forward. We left a deposit and we were then called the next day and told that it had been sold. Apparently another sales person ignored the fact that it was marked for sale with a deposit and sold it out from under us. Will never do business here and will inform family and friends to stay away.

I had my Jeep there for a few issues and also for the recalls. The bill came out to a little over $2400 which I paid. My husband looked at the bill, he went back to the dealer & asked the parts dept and asked for a print out of the prices for the parts that were used to fix the issues.
