– What about Brown’s makes it stand out from its competitors?
R: First I’d like to say customer experience is the number one priority which isn’t actually the case for many of our competitors even if they say it is, secondly every department here at Brown’s knows our history and having over 100 years of a family-owned business speaks very highly of the way we conduct ourselves.
– What drove you to start your career in the auto industry?
R: My Grandfather Stanley “Stan The Man” Ganz definitely influenced my start in the auto industry although he passed away years before I started working, I still heard the stories of how he was with customers and I guess I followed in his footsteps being so personable with everyone I come across.
– What’s the last trip you took?
R: That would be a trip to Disneyland in Florida with my family although my son was only about 1.5 years old at the time he still enjoyed every bit of that time.
– Who is someone you look to and what have they shown/taught you?
R: I would have to say my mom she’s taught me way too many things to list here but I will say the two main things would be compassion for others and family comes first!!!

-What is your favorite part of your job?
R: Starting a relationship with a 1st time buyer and the anticipation in their eyes, then seeing them come back many more times for their auto needs.
-What is it about Browns that makes it stand out from its competitors?
R: Well for one it has been family owned for over 100 years. We are all given the tools and freedom to make sure the customer is taken care of in every department.
-What drove you to start a career in the auto industry?
R: It was quite by accident in 1986 I answered an ad in the Times for Finance Manager training…got the Job and have been in the business ever since.
-What was your first car?
R: It was a 1970 1/2 Camaro in green with a 350 motor. I wish I still had that car.

– What is your favorite part of the job?
J: Meeting so many different and interesting people on a daily basis and helping them find the vehicle that matches their needs/lifestyle. Another favorite part of my job is all of the great people I work with at Brown’s.
– What is it about Brown’s that makes it stand out from its competitors?
J: Brown’s has been in business for over 100 years, there are not many dealerships in this industry that have a legacy tradition like that. Additionally, Brown’s is a family-owned and operated business that treats our customers just like family. We have so many repeat customers, which is a testament to how we value and appreciate them.
– Which do you prefer, new or classic cars?
J: Definitely new cars, all of the technology and luxury amenities are amazing. There are also so many safety features in new vehicles that they really do make our roads a safer place.
– What was your first car and what do you drive now?
J: My first car was a Chevy Blazer and I am now driving a Ram 1500 Big Horn.
– Who is someone you look to and what have they shown/taught you?
J: Both of my parents have been such great role models to me and have shown me that hard work and honesty pays dividends in both personal and professional aspects of my life.

– What is one misconception about what you do versus what you actually do?
J: One misconception is dealerships have a bad reputation for taking advantage of people. What we actually do is help you make the right decision for you.

J: My dream car is a Lamborghini Aventador

J: What drove me into the auto industry was the day I bought my truck from Brown’s. That same day I filled out my credit application and a job application.

J: The last trip I took was Aruba

J: Keith Mauer, he showed me the ins and the outs of the used car department, he taught me everything I know.

– What’s your dream car?
D: My dream car has to be the 1970 Plymouth Superbird.
– What do you prefer, new cars or classic cars?
D: Classic cars for sure, classic American Muscle.

D: The last trip I took was to Arizona where I hiked the Grand Canyon.
– If you could build your dream home anywhere, where would it be and what would it look like?
D: My dream home would be to own my Island in the Caribbean.

– What drove you to start your career in the Auto Industry?
K: I grew up in the business since I was little, my dad always brought me to the events Brown’s & Chrysler had. When I was in elementary school I would come to Brown’s in the morning before school and hang out with finance managers, sales staff, etc. I started at Brown’s as a receptionist in high school. Being surrounded by the sales department and being a part of the sales events I knew this was something I wanted to pursue. At Brown’s, I was given the opportunity to grow within the company. Plus I love the product we sell.
– What was your first car and what car do you drive now?
K: My first car was a 1997 Jeep Cherokee and now I drive a 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited X
– What’s the last trip?
K: I just went to Clear Water Beach, FL with my friends and family to be a part of one of my best friend’s weddings.

– What is your favorite part of your job?
M: My favorite part of my job is helping people narrow down their vehicle searches and having a different way of doing it every time. Keeps me excited too because it’s different for each person.

M: BMW i8
– What is the coolest car you’ve seen pull in the Service Drive?
M: Old school modified army Jeep, it was pretty sweet.
– What outdoor activity haven’t you tried, but would like to?
M: Snowboarding, I would like to try that because I skateboarded a lot when I was younger. I think I would be pretty good at it, I like extreme sports.

M: My first car was a 1997 Grand Cherokee Limited, now I have a 2009 Grand Cherokee Rocky Mountain edition.

R: Classic of course
– What drove you to start your career in the auto industry?
R: My dad repairing cars in our driveway, always loved the mechanical part of fixing broken things. Still do my own repairs today.
– What was your first car and what car or cars do you drive now?
R: My 1st car was a 1965 Dodge Dart black 4 door with a slant 6 engine, my dad bought it for us to rebuild in our Boces Automotive class. Today I drive a beautiful white 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit.
– What was the last trip you took?
R: Last week drove up to Lake George for a week long camping adventure, trailing a 26 foot travel trailer my Jeep.

-What is your favorite part of your job?
B: My favorite part of my job over the years from sales to service is definitely seeing all the different makes and model cars come in and out of the dealership while working alongside my second family here at Brown’s every day.
– What drove you to start your career in the auto industry?
B: Growing up my dad was an auto body man/mechanic. He always took me to work with him on my days off from school or included me in his work on cars that he did at home on the weekends. He has a love for cars that he shared with me since a very young age. I always tell him he’s the reason I have a love for cars and know as much as I do about them & he is definitely the reason I ended up working in the same industry!
– Which do you prefer, new cars or classic cars?
B: If it’s a muscle/performance car, whether it be classic or new, it’s got my attention.
-What was your first car and what car or cars do you drive now?
B: My first car was a gold 2001 Cadillac Deville, now I currently drive a velvet red 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee!
– If you could build your dream home anywhere, where would it be and what would it be like?
B: My dream home would be an all-glass window home with a wraparound porch and white marble floors somewhere where the weather is ALWAYS warm with the beach in walking distance… or in my backyard

– What’s your dream car?
T: My dream car is a Plymouth Hemi Cuda.
– Which do you prefer, new cars or classic cars?
T: Both, I like the simplicity of old cars and the technology of the new cars.
– What was your first car and what car or cars do you drive now?
T: My first car was a Honda Civic I now drive 3 cars and a motorcycle. A 2020 Hyundai Veloster N, 1989 Ford Ranger, 2005 Subaru Impreza WRX and a 1997 Suzuki GSXR 600 motorcycle.
– What drove you to start your career in the auto industry?
T: My love for cars.
– If you had unlimited funds to build/restore the car of your dreams, what would the finished car look like?
T: I would restore a 1969 Mustang, make it look close to stock as possible and paint it black.
